Kelly Carter

CEO

Kelly Carter is the CEO of BRPG and has more than 30 years experience as a financial retirement advisor with emphasis on estate and tax planning, life insurance, annuity programs, and retirement strategies.

Kelly has worked directly with pre-retirees and retirees, business owners, and professionals, providing them with alternative, safe solutions for their retirement needs.

Prior to BRPG, he was responsible for the formation of an estate planning team that focused on wealth transfers and tax saving strategies for high net worth clients. This team, comprised of lawyers, CPAs, tax, insurance and investment specialists, provided the necessary strategies for ensuring the protection and efficiencies of each client’s “wealth transfer” plan. Over the next several years, Kelly expanded this approach to offices in the Chicago and New York regions as he grew this segment of the business, nation-wide.

Mr. Carter has headed up the forum for hundreds of wealth preservation seminars and has spoken to thousands of retirees. The result has been the development of an extensive network of clients throughout Southern California with individualized and customized retirement plans that provide peace of mind wealth preservation solutions.

Very early in his career, Kelly was recruited to serve as an independent Registered Representative, appointed through Bear Stearns and First Allied Securities, Inc. He received his formal education at Central Missouri State University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. and B.A. degree in Finance and Management.

Steven A. Conte

President

Steven A. Conte is President of Beacon, and has 30 years of experience in corporate America, with emphasis in retirement financial planning, human resources, and operations, both domestic and international.

Steve has devoted the last 15 years of his professional career to working directly with pre-retirees and retirees, business owners, and professionals, providing alternative strategies for their retirement needs.

He has an accomplished background as a senior executive and corporate officer in companies ranging from Bristol-Myers, Schering-Plough, United Brands, and Newmont Mining Corporation. Steve has been responsible for the design, development and management of pension plans and 401 (k) plans, as well as employee benefit and compensation plans.

Steve brings an extensive background in financial management planning, human resources and operations to the programs he represents and understands.

​Steve is a graduate of St. Ambrose University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Political Science and Economics, and won the Political Science Academic Excellence Award. He has completed over 50 professional, technical, sales and management programs. A seasoned traveler, he has worked in Europe, Russia, South and Central America, Canada and the Far East.

Joe DeMeo

President & Founder of Money Bridge Wealth & Income Planning

As president and founder of Money Bridge Wealth & Income Planning, Joe DeMeo works closely with his clients, designing custom financial plans that address their specific needs, thus assuring financial independence in retirement. Setting his clients up for success allows them to face their future with anticipation rather than apprehension. After all, the goal is to never outlive your money.


We remain committed to community outreach, education, and leadership around the topics of financial planning and asset protection, including estate planning, trust accounts, long-term care planning, and other special needs. Working with families across the country, our primary mission is to help individuals protect what they’ve worked so hard to accumulate.

Heidi Hilton

Licensed Insurance Professional

Shawnee joined the firm in 2005 and serves as our Chief Financial Officer and Notary Public. Shawnee has expertise in providing comprehensive accounting services for corporation, partnership, nonprofit organization and sole proprietor, including payroll processing and payroll tax reports. Shawnee is a graduate of Ateneo de Naga University where she earned a B.S.B.A. degree in Accounting. 

Shawnee joined the firm in 2005 and serves as our Chief Financial Officer and Notary Public. Shawnee has expertise in providing comprehensive accounting services for corporation, partnership, nonprofit organization and sole proprietor, including payroll processing and payroll tax reports. Shawnee is a graduate of Ateneo de Naga University where she earned a B.S.B.A. degree in Accounting. 

Heidi Hilton is the owner of Milestones Life Transitions. For more than two decades, she has been helping clients create life and financial plans to support their unique needs and long-term goals. Through her professional and personal life experience, she helps clients think through issues important to them so that they can make better decisions to prepare for the future.

Clients often consider her their Personal CFO. She draws upon diverse skills and experience to meet the needs of clients. She is also a college professor and is a passionate life-long learner. She has degrees in allied health and elder care, and a master’s degree in business. She promotes financial literacy with clients so they can make better decisions. Heidi is a licensed insurance professional and has a Series 65 license. She also partners with her husband’s firm to offer life, health, and property/casualty insurance.

Heidi knows firsthand about life’s unexpected ups and downs. When Heidi’s grandmother was age 35, her husband passed away without life insurance, leaving her with no other option but to enter the workforce to support their four children. She eventually remarried and her second husband again passed away with no life insurance. As an adult, Heidi was hit by a drunk driver as she was on a walk while pushing her daughter in a stroller. She suffered a closed-head injury and had to relearn how to walk, talk and take care of herself. A few years later, she was injured in another auto accident and lost her vision for several months. These were the motivating factors in her desire to help others protect themselves from future unforeseen challenges.

Shawnee Burce

Stephanie Wendt

Director of Client Operations |
Licensed Medicare & Insurance Agent

Stephanie is a graduate of Cal State University, Fullerton and has been a member of the BRPG team for many years. As Director of Client Operations, she continually focuses on the needs of each individual client, operations of each producer's pending business, advising on critical elements of client contracts, and helping to expedite each producer's productivity. Stephanie has daily interactions with clients and helps to provide account support, knowledge, and guidance where needed. ​​

Lisa Vanderfin

Chief Marketing Officer

Lisa serves as our Chief Marketing Officer where she oversees all print and electronic marketing mediums, as well as social media, educational events, and client contact. She acts as a liaison for our business partners, assisting with their client marketing needs. Lisa is a graduate of Portland State University where she was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Speech Communications, Marketing and Public Relations. 

Sherri Fish

Client Relationship Specialist

Sherri joined the firm in 2021 and serves as our Client Relationship Specialist and Notary Public. She comes to us with a high priority in client relations. Her goal is to make sure all client needs are taken care of efficiently and timely. She has worked in the office setting for over ten years, providing valuable experience and knowledge. Sherri holds a degree in Business Administration.
